A tincture is a highly concentrated liquid plant extract. Think of a tincture as a super-powered, condensed version of herbal tea. To make them, we use a specialized percolation method. We pack the plants into a percolation cone and slowly pass alcohol or vegetable glycerin through them. Gravity pushes the liquid through the herbs, instantly capturing and locking in all the powerful, beneficial compounds for you to benefit from.

Our tinctures are formulated for oral consumption and should be taken by mouth. It is not designed for topical application to the skin, nor should it be used as an aromatherapy oil or diffused.

Tinctures are incredibly potent, so a little goes a long way. Squeeze the recommended number of drops directly under your tongue or mix it into a small amount of water, juice, or tea and drink.

Because every herb possesses unique properties, dosing guidelines vary across our product line. You can find the safe, recommended dosage range (listed in milliliters) clearly marked on the back label of each bottle. Keep in mind that your ideal serving size may also depend on your individual body size and wellness goals. If you ever feel unsure or would like personal guidance on finding the right amount and frequency for you, please feel free to reach out to us directly—we are always here to help!

Water alone can't extract all the goodness from certain plants, and it spoils quickly.

  • Alcohol acts like a magnet to draw out the strongest plant properties and acts as a natural preservative so the tincture lasts for years.
  • Vegetable glycerin is a plant-based, naturally sweet, alcohol-free alternative that is gentle on the stomach and great for kids or anyone avoiding alcohol.

You can clean and reuse your empty tincture bottle as a travel container, mini bud vase, use for DIY blends, or recycle the glass bottle.

Each dropper squeeze is approximately 0.5 millimeters.
